Students in Nicaragua have a hard time staying in school. They are often sent out to work to secure a meal for their day.
The help of loyal donors has improved school retention rates as we reduce hunger by implementing school meal programs in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
When natural disasters affect Nicaragua’s educational system, the support of heroes like you make a difference. Students’ lives are changed as they attend class in safe and secure classrooms.

According to World Bank, 1 in 3 Nicaraguans live with less than $2 a day. Many families still lack access to basic necessities and children’s health is affected often causing severe malnutrition.
Our work is only possible thanks to your generosity. Together, we improve lives as we focused on prevention by promoting healthy lifestyles, build awareness through school-level campaigns, and ensure a quality nutrition for malnourished children.

Remote and rural areas in Nicaragua lack access to safe and clean water. On many occasions the water they use often carries diseases that puts many families’ health at risk.
Your kindness does not only help us quench thirst, but it also improves families’ hygiene, health education, and strengthen the community’s capacity to manage their new water facilities.
Your support build wells in remote areas, provides access to sanitation services, and provide safe drinking water to avoid waterborne diseases.
5. You shelter and protect families
Many homes in Nicaragua, especially in remote and rural areas are made from plastic, zinc sheets, and cardboard. These makeshift homes are the only protection entire families have at night.
Your heart-giving donations shelters and protects families in Nicaragua by building dignified homes for impoverished families. Without your help, we would not be able to reduce the housing deficit and provide families access to fully-equipped bedrooms, toilet, furniture, and potable water systems.

Nicaragua’s location is prone to natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes. With an ongoing pandemic and an economic recession, Nicaragua has a highly vulnerable population.
